Pulse Protect is a connected car app that helps you keep track of your vehicle’s location in real-time, monitor its status, and recover it if it’s ever stolen. It’s installed in your vehicle before you leave the dealership, so you can drive away with peace of mind knowing your car is protected.
First, find the registration email sent to the email address you provided to the dealership. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, contact the dealer and ask them to resend it. The email will guide you through the setup process and includes a link to download the Pulse Protect User Guide.
Click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page of the mobile app. You will receive an email with an access code for verification. Use this code to reset your password.
To check how long you can use Pulse Protect, open the mobile app and select “Vehicle.” Click on the “Details” icon, then scroll down to view your subscription information.
If you are logged in, click on “Vehicle Details,” then select either the Camera Icon to take a new picture using your phone’s camera, or the Picture Icon to choose an existing photo from your phone.

Using a GPS tracker like Pulse Protect can often result in lower insurance premiums. While discounts vary by insurance company, they typically range from 5 to 40% (Source: USA Today). These discounts are offered because GPS trackers can show that you are a safe driver, giving insurance companies more confidence in covering you. Additionally, GPS trackers can help recover stolen vehicles, reducing insurance payouts. Check with your insurance company to see what discounts they offer for using a GPS tracker.
